Wellness Wednesday

Each over-the-hump day we’re here with things to help you feel good and look great.

Arrg. Ahoy matey!

In my quest to satisfy the need for cheesy and crunchy, I found a healthy snack in the natural/organic section of Giant Eagle (facing the sushi and salad bar) at University Town Centre. Try Pirate’s Booty! (No, I’m not making this up.) Robert’s American Gourmet makes the delicious (and all natural) rice and corn puffs, which are dusted in aged, white cheddar. It’s a great baked snack while on board your ship or while relaxing after a long day of pillaging.

I only found the aged cheddar booty, but the company’s site boasts many varieties, including Pirate’s Cannon Balls, Pirate’s Swords, Barbaque Booty and Fruity Booty.

  1. Pirate’s Booty is one of my favorite snacks. I actually ate an entire bag of it yesterday at work (that’s pretty disgusting, I know, but it tasted so good!)

  2. Hey, I believe it ’cause the stuff is so good and has such a nice texture. It’s hard to put down a bag of booty:) (Eeww. The puffed snack, that is.)
