A Cock Fight — And Not Downtown!
The joke writes itself, but it’s in poor taste so I won’t bore you any more than I already have.
A lot of people are facing $100 to $1000 fines for attending a cock-fight in McDowell County, and the number of people charged may grow as people return to claim the vehicles they abandoned at the scene. State Police have issued 46 misdemeanor charges, so far.
No animals were found dead, so it’s believed the fight had not yet started when police interrupted.
