Two WVU Students Allege Assault Against Devine and Sanders
According to The Daily Athenaeum, WVU’s student run newspaper, two WVU students allege they were assaulted outside of Club Z by WVU freshman running back Noel Devine and WVU freshman wide receiver Jock Sanders, early last Saturday. The two students suffered minor injuries and did not wish to receive medical attention. In their statements to Morgantown Police, they claim the the incident began with an “encounter” inside the nightclub. The two assaulted also suggested to authorities that four other WVU football players might have been involved in the incident.
