Football files missing
Yet another seemingly negative twist in the story of Mountaineer ex-coach Rich Rodriguez: several files on Mountaineer players are mysteriously missing. The files were stolen or destroyed sometime between Rich’s resignation and when the team and coaching staff returned from the Fiesta bowl. The Charleston Gazette reports that while the athletic department has no intention of investigating the files’ disappearance, the information may affect WVU’s four-million dollar buyout lawsuit against the former head coach.
I feel the most bad for the students — the school says it’s now missing documents on student performance, grades, and community service files. I wonder how difficult those will be to replace?
